Module 2: Basic Architectural Modeling

  • Creating and modifying walls, floors, roofs, and ceilings

  • Working with doors and windows

  • Using levels and grids effectively

  • View controls and visual styles

  • Hands-On: Model a small house layout with walls, roof, and basic components

Module 3: Advanced Architectural Components

  • Stairs, ramps, railings, and curtain walls

  • Creating rooms and room tags

  • Adding furniture and equipment

  • Managing views, sections, and callouts

  • Hands-On: Add interior components and define spaces in your building model

Module 4: Structural Modeling

Module 8: Collaboration and Worksharing

  • Linking Revit and CAD files

  • Using Revit Cloud Worksharing (optional)

  • Hands-On: Collaborate with linked models and test worksharing features

Module 9: Families and Templates

  • Introduction to Revit families (components, annotation, etc.)

  • Managing and customizing templates

  • Using shared parameters

  • Hands-On: Build a custom family and load it into your project

Module 10: Final Project and Review

  • Final mini-project: Complete a small residential/commercial model
