This is a 5-day, hands-on training designed to equip researchers, data analysts, statisticians, and data scientists with the skills to manage and analyze qualitative and mixed-methods data using MAXQDA.

You will learn how to:

  • Set up a MAXQDA project
  • Import diverse data types (e.g. interview transcripts, focus-group text, media, survey open-ended responses),
  • Organize documents, apply coding (manual and auto-coding),
  • Build code systems and categories to code and categorize data
  • Run queries and analyses to unearth patterns, themes, and relationships
  • Use MAXQDA’s visualization and reporting tools, including code matrices, word clouds, code co-occurrence maps, charts, and summary tables to communicate findings effectively

The course also covers mixed-methods workflows integrating qualitative data with quantitative attributes (e.g. survey variables), enabling joint analysis, comparisons, and cross-referencing.
