Course objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the complete motion capture pipeline, from initial concept to final render.
- Understand the full Vicon Shogun workflow, from initial camera setup to final data export.
- Learn to plan a professional motion capture shoot, including creating a move list and managing talent.
- Master the technical aspects of a Mocap shoot, such as camera calibration and on-set troubleshooting.
- Develop skills in data cleanup and processing, including fixing errors, filling gaps, and smoothing motion.
- Acquire the knowledge to retarget motion data onto different character models.
- Gain experience integrating animated characters into a 3D environment.

Methodology
This instructor-led training course is delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials, and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professionals and trainers in these fields. All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. The participants should be reasonably proficient in English.
Accreditation
Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued a Tech For Development Certificate of Course Completion.
Training Venue
